(GIMJE=Yonhap News) On Mar. 13, two special-purpose truck companies--Chunha Inc. and Fine Motors--signed an agreement to invest in the Baekgu Agro-industrial Complex in Gimje City, North Jeolla Province, adding to the list of 21 companies that have already agreed to move into the complex.
Based in Iksan City, North Jeolla Province, Chunha Incorporated will invest KRW 5 billion in the complex. The company specializes in making special-purpose trucks and fixing ladder trucks.
Based in Gwangju City, Fine Motors, maker of special-purpose trucks for environmental, agricultural and construction industries, has agreed to invest KRW 2.5 billion.
The Baekgu Agro-industrial Complex is being developed as Korea's first industrial complex for special-purpose truck companies.
