According to Yonhap News,

(IKSAN=Yonhap News) Two medium-sized food companies have decided to call Iksan, North Jeolla Province, their new home.

Chicken processing company Seodong and dried foods maker D&O signed with Iksan on April 17, agreeing to invest in the city's 4th industrial complex.

Seodong, famous for its smoked chicken breasts, plans to install processing facilities and equipment on a site of 5,000 square meters, and produce health foods targeted for younger generations.

D&O decided to to relocate its factories to Iksan to expand its line of products. When the new location opens, the company hopes to make high-added-value foods as well as cosmetics products, in addition to its traditional line of dried potato snacks.
