(JEONJU=Yonhap News) The Jeonju Project Market has opened for its four-day run on May 3, as part of the 18th Jeonju International Film Festival (JIFF).

This year, the market will take place at the Hotel Roni near Film Street, connecting quality projects with the film industry.

Various events are scheduled this year, including introductions to the Jeonju Cinema Fund Promotion, MiddleEarth Lab, and the Cookie Talk forum, where visitors can learn about the latest trends in the film industry.

For the entire duration of the festival, the JIFF organizing committee is bringing together filmmakers with film industry personel at the Industry Service Desk set up on the 3rd floor of Hotel Roni.

The organizing committee is set to hold its final press conference at the Digital Independent Cinema on May 6, the final day of the festival.
