(IKSAN=Yonhap News) Iksan City, Jeonbuk, will build a rental factory to attract re-shoring companies and foster the jewelry industry.

Last month, the city completed the design of the factory and will officially begin contract reviews, give a notice of tender and construction.

The two-building, 1200㎡-sized rental factory will be built in the fashion complex of the Samgi-myeon 3rd industrial complex on a 6,200㎡ plot.

The city plans to open the factory in October and help existing companies and startups move in to the new facility.
