(IKSAN=Yonhap News) On June 3, Iksan-si announced that it would build a factory in the 3rd General Industrial Complex in Samgi-myeon, Iksan to attract jewelry companies returning to Korea.

KRW 3.6 billion will be invested to build a one-floor factory, with the total building area of 999 square meters.

It will be equipped with facilities allowing for one-stop process encompassing casting, assembly processing, inspection, and packaging.

Previously, Iksan-city built two factories of the total floor area of 1,196 square meters, attracting 30 companies including 10 reshoring companies from China.

Iksan city mayor said, "We will help Korean companies settle stably by reducing the burden of early-stage capital investment."
