According to Yonhap News,

North Jeolla Province said on Jan. 8 that nearly eight percent of the local dairy farm land will adopt so-called smart system worth as much as KRW 25 billion. The smart farm land combines ICT with conventional business, where temperature / humidity control, odor sensoring, a fire or blackout alert, surveillance, auto-feeding and milking are all available at one place.

The province strongly believes that the smart system is highly likely to level up the industry, being a major contributor to automation, pest control through big data analytics, productivity and condition improvement etc. The authority is planning to push up the adoption rate by 10 percent by 2022.
