Three investors signed an MOU to establish new production lines in Gimje FTZ

According to Yonhap News,


There was an MOU signing ceremony among Shinsung E&G, Howon EPS and a foreign invested company TAMI on Apr. 21 at the presence of North Joella Province governor and the mayor of Gimje city. These entities involved reached a consensus to build up a new production plant inside Gimje Free Trade Zone.
With a worth of KRW 20 billion investment, Shinsung E&G will establish a facility producing photovoltaic modules to be marketed in the US, Canada and France.
Howon EPS spends as much as KRW 6.1 billion on manufacturing components to make trucks and touring karts. TAMI is reported to have a new factory that costs roughly KRW 10 billion to produce trailer parts.
