First, the town will distribute 135 “visible AI- powered speakers” which enables the elderly living alone to enjoy multitude services like small chats, gaming, weather forecast, radio, taxi hailing, announcement and remote counselling to form ‘two-way remote communication channels’, specifically designed to take extra care for the seniors.
Second, by installing a system powered by solar panel in 25 places across the town, they detect and crack down on illegal garbage dumping.
Third, pedestrian detection AI solutions to protect the elderly and disabled pedestrians and LED embedded crosswalk, designed to enhance road safety and convenience will be newly installed in four separate crossroads.
Fourth, nine PM quality and fowl-smelling gas monitoring sensors, along with a couple of LED sings which display information onto the screens in real time.
Lastly, they form a consolidated form of ICT platform to keep all administrative services and process under control, while establishing a monitoring center in the local community center. Wanju-gun announced that Naver and Jeonju IT&CT Industry Promotion Agency have endowed sponsorship for the project.
