JIAC to form “Tech-biz Plaza” in Saemangeum
Saemangeum Development and Investment Agency (SDIA) said on Oct 28 that Jeonbuk Institute of Automobile Convergence Technology (JIAC) signed a deal to build up and move into a ‘Tech-biz Plaza’, located in Saemangeum industry cluster.
With KRW 54.6 billion in total, JIAC establishes the plaza, a six story building on a 16,500㎡ site within the cluster districts, until the year 2022. The facility which is to be fully equipped with machines to advance and test components for the future of mobility, will accommodate research centers and companies developing automobile technology.
