According to Yonhap News,

Wooil Flucon Co..LTD, an industrial coating maker, signed an MOU on May 7 over its new manufacturing plant in Iksan Industry Cluster. Under the contract agreed upon, Flucon will invest KRW 3.1 billion in a new factory on a 9,000㎡ site inside the 3rd industry cluster in the city of Iksan by the end of next year.

To catch up with soaring demand for industrial coatings, Flucon, a partner which has long been supplying semiconductor products to Korea’s flagship companies like Samsung or LG, recently decided to build up its production facility in Iksan city, an official said.

In celebration of the MOU signing ceremony, the city mayor pledged a strong support for the investor, saying “The investment is highly anticipated to bring vigor into community economy, adding new jobs.”
