JEOLLABUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do built a new industry convergence knowledge industry center on the site of Jeonju IC&CT Promotion Agency (JICA), Nosong-dong, and held an opening ceremony on May 24.

The center is to accommodate SMEs and startups in the new industries such as blockchain and AI. With KRW 24.3 billion investment, the center is completed with 2 basement floors, 5 above-ground floors, with total building area of 9,200 square meters.

It has various support facilities including conference rooms, lounge, and training rooms, among others.

While the center has spaces available for 29 tenant companies, 17 companies from the 1st selection are already scheduled to move in.

The city expects the center will play a pivotal role in leading the new industries along with IT Venture Center, Multimedia Technology Support Center, Cultural Industry Support Center, and 1 Person Creative Enterprise Center located on the site of the JICA.
