Gimje Free Trade Zone [Provided by Yonhap News]

According to Yonhap News,

Land Solution decided to build a factory in the Gimje Free Trade zone, Jeollabuk-do, and held an investment agreement ceremony at Gimje City Hall on the 11th.

Land Solution is a joint venture between LS Mtron, an agricultural machinery manufacturing giant, and Woongjin Machinery. The company and will spend KRW 17.4 billion by the end of the year to install a production line on a 51,300 square meter site in the Gimje Free Trade Zone, and will mainly produce tractor parts for LS Mtron there.

Seong-ju Seong-ju, Mayor of Gimje, said, "It will be of great help to revitalize the local economy and foster the agricultural machinery industry."
