According to The Korea Economic Daily Global Edition,

LS Mtron, the heavy machinery and advanced parts maker of South Korea's LS Group, on Monday said it completed the LS Mtron Parts and Solution Center to set up a global logistics system and accelerate the growth of its tractor unit.

The center consists of four buildings covering 8,910 square meters on a site of 24,420 square meters in Wanju County, North Jeolla Province. With the growth of its tractor business, the company also opened a parts center at its tractor plant.

LS Mtron plans to grow its global parts business by streamlining the logistics system spanning its overseas subsidiaries in the US, Brazil and China.

Signing a joint venture contract with WoongjinMachinery in June, LS Mtron through the center's completion is deemed to have set up a four-part system for agricultural machinery and parts along with tractors and engines.

LS Mtron CEO Shin Chai-ho said, "The importance of our parts unit is gradually rising in line with the accelerated growth of our tractors on the global agricultural machinery market," adding, " The Parts and Solutions Center will be our parts unit's outpost to boost our service system and satisfy our overseas tractor customers while speeding up the growth of our tractor business."
