Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk announced on Apr. 5 that it will simultaneously launch 7 projects for expanding hydrogen infrastructures on the occasion of being selected as a candidate for national industrial complex specializing in the hydrogen industry.

The projects which are or will be in action are 7, worth a total of KRW 424.1 billion, including ▲ developing a national industrial complex, ▲ establishing hydrogen products inspection support centers, ▲ establishing certificate programs for used fuel cells, ▲ establishing renewable energy linked ESS safety evaluation centers, ▲ developing hydrogen pilot cites, ▲ supporting penetration of FCEVs, and ▲ building hydrogen separators.


Wanju-gun plans to vitalize the local economy by 2026 by making the massive investment to build core infrastructures for hydrogen energy.
