According to Yonhap News,

Jeonbuk Shipbuilding Industry Leap Center said on May 16th that 'Shipbuilding Job Matching Day' will be held on May 23rd in Daejeon Trade Exhibition Center.

In the event, 8 subcontractors of Hyundai Heavy Industries Gunsan Shipyard will participate to hire around 80 new workers in welding, painting, overhead crane control.

Jointly organized by Chungnan Job Support Center for the Middle-Aged, Gunsan Employment and Welfare Plus Center, and Daejeon Employment and Welfare Plus Center, Job Matching Day' aims to meet the growing demands of field workers in the shipyards thanks to the cycle of the domestic shipbuilding industry on the rise.

An official of Gunsan city said, "We will make 'Job Matching Day' a regular event to channel quality workers to these subcontractors to help the shipyards in Gunsan city can be fully operated."
