Wonkwang University Provides Academic Curricula to Nurture Talent for International Development and ODA

Wonkwang University said on May 16th that it sets up a basic course for nurturing talent for the field of international development and NGO to prepare students for entering rising sectors related ODA which has become more relevant today.

Operated by Campus Job Plus Center, the new curricula will be led by Prof. kim hyung kyu at Wonkwang University with goals of embodying the philosophy of Wonkwang University, 'Human-Centered University, Global-minded Students' and fostering specialized human resources in industries related with ODA.

Last year, Wonkwang University made a great achievement with this program that it had 3 students from the institution hired by KOICA and YP (young professionals).

The head of Campus Job Plus Center said. "We will provide practical curricula by covering academic topics including international development and ODA, starting careers in international organizations, volunteer work in KOICA, in order to nurture global minded talent who will serve the global society."
