According to Yonhap News,

Gunsn city, Jeonbuk-do said on May 17 that it will open Gunsan Local Food Center, a local farmer's market, on June 27 that will directly connect local food producers and consumers.

The city is investing KRW 2.5 billion to make a 3,600-square-meters farmer's market along with coffee shops in Gyeongam-dong and will begin to operate it from mid-June.

Under the management of Gunsan Food Foundation, about 480 farmers will sell their products in Gunsan Local Food Center.

An official of Gunsan said, "Gunsan Local Food Center will make a contribution to securing a reliable sales channel for local farmers by setting up a local-friendly retail cycle where local produce is being sold by local consumers and supplying healthy local produce and foods to urban dwellers."
