According to Yonhap News,


Namwon-si, Jeollabuk-do, began exporting Chunhyang Grapes to Vietnam on September 6.

The grapes shipped today are 3 tons of Campbell produced by Jirisan Nonghyup (Agricultural Cooperatives).

Additionally, Shine Muscat and others will be exported to Vietnam by the end of this year by taking account the market response.

Grapes will also be exports to Hong Kong, scheduled for next week.

Last year, a total of 17 tons of grapes were exported to Vietnam and Hong Kong.

In Namwon, 726 farms are growing grapes on 373ha as of this year, which are expected to produce about 6,000 tons.
