JEOLLABUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) announced on October 3 that it will hold the "Korea Seed Expo 2023" at K-Seed Valley in Gimje, Jeollabuk-do on October 5-7.

The Expo, which will be held for the seventh time this year, is the only seed industry expo in Korea, held under the theme of "The Future Starting from the Seed."

64 companies dealing with seeds, pesticides, and fertilizers and 25 organizations, including the Rural Development Administration (RDA), will be present to showcase newly developed kinds of seeds and products.

In the exhibition hall, 334 varieties, including napa cabbage, radish, cabbage, and flowers developed by participating companies, and 155 varieties developed by the RDA will be on introduced.

The MAFRA also invited 70 officials from companies in 22 countries to hold export consultations with domestic companies during the fair.

Side events include academic conferences and breeding technology briefing sessions, among others.
