According to Yonhap News,

On November 15, Sunchang-gun, Jeollabuk-do, announced that it has signed an MOU with SSR to create a large-scale tourism facility at Sunchang Fermentation Theme Park.

SSR plans to invest a total of KRW 18.2 billion on a 22,627㎡ site in Fermentation Theme Park in Sunchang-eup, Baeksan-ri to build entertainment facilities such as water park, tent site, and 30 glamping tents.

The company plans to start construction of the facilities in December and open in August next year.

It is expected to lead to employment of about 200 people. The county expects it to contribute to long-stay tourism industry along with the Femertation Theme Park.

Governor said, "we expect that the foundation of recreational tourism will be laid through private investment, providing high-quality tourism services," adding "we will actively cooperate in the administrative procedures so that a new local landmark can be established."
