According to Yonhap News,

On January 15th, Jeonbuk State, Jeonju-si, and the Foundation for the Korea Innovation Foundation signed investment agreements with seven companies that will be located in the Jeonju Carbon Materials National Industrial Complex.

Under the agreement, the seven companies—Accesswe, Pharma Robotics, Daegyoung industrial electronics, DMT, Nef, MR Energy, and E-SU ENG—will invest a total of KRW 61 billion in the Carbon National Industrial Complex, which is scheduled to be completed in 2027, and plan to create 135 jobs.

AccessWe is a Middle Market Enterprise specialized in the defense industry that develops and manufactures vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing unmanned drones, supplying them to the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and other entities.

PharmaRobotics is an advanced medical device company that develops a robot automatically preparing injection. Under the agreement, the company plans to move its headquarters to Jeonbuk State and supply its products to large hospitals both domestically and internationally.

Daegyoung industrial electronics, DMT, Nef, MR Energy, and E-SU ENG are companies recognized for their technological expertise in producing solar power systems and electrical components.

The Jeonju Carbon Materials National Industrial Complex, designated as an opportunity development special zone in June of last year, offers tax benefits such as property and acquisition tax reductions for tenant companies.

With innovation institutions like the Korea Innovation Foundation located nearby, the complex is equipped with infrastructure to support technological development and growth. The complex spans approximately 660,000 square meters (200,000 pyeong) and is set to begin sale of land in lots in February.
