On June 16, Gimje-si in Jeonbuk State announced that it had signed an agreement with four promising specialty vehicle companies, including Jinwoo SMC and Hanshin, who will invest a total of KRW 37.7 billion KRW in the Specialty Vehicle 2nd Industrial Complex.

Jinwoo SMC plans to invest KRW 13 billion to build a factory for unmanned water trucks, robot fire trucks, and other specialized vehicles.

Hanshin will invest KRW 10.9 billion to establish a factory for aerial work vehicles.

In addition, Gukdo Special Equipment and EuroAuto will invest KRW 10 billion and KRW 3.7 billion , respectively.

Once the investments are completed, 120 jobs are expected to be created.

Gimje-si explained that the investment was made possible thanks to various development support facilities and generous investment incentives provided at the specialty vehicle industrial complex.

The city's mayor expressed his gratitude, stating, "We are grateful for the investment decision made during these challenging times, and we will spare no effort in supporting a successful settlement of these investments."
