According to Yonhap News,

On December 10th, Jeonbuk State visited Shanghai to mark the 20th anniversary of friendly exchanges with the city.

Led by Kim Jong-hoon, the Vice Governor for Economic Affairs, the Jeonbuk delegation held a commemorative ceremony in Shanghai, reaffirming the commitment to strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the two regions.

A joint performance of Taekwondo, Korea’s national sport, and Wushu, China’s national sport, symbolized the willingness the two regions to further exchange.

Following this, a bibimbap performance also conveyed the meaning of cultural exchange and cooperation.

Jeonbuk State explained that the visit was significant in revitalizing the exchanges between the two regions, which had previously been at a declarative level, and in confirming a strategic cooperative relationship looking ahead to the next 20 years.

In addition, the delegation held a meeting with Xie Dong, the Vice Mayor of Shanghai, to discuss cooperation plans for mutual prosperity.

The delegation will continue its visit to China until December 12th, holding investment briefings targeting new industry companies in finance, bio, robotics, and more, as part of ongoing "Jeonbuk sales" efforts.

Vice Governor Kim stated, "We will expand economic cooperation with Shanghai in various fields, including youth and cultural exchanges, as well as new industries, logistics, and trade."
