On December 16, Jeonbuk State signed an investment agreement with Moreh, an AI infrastructure company, and Korea Mechanical Equipment Technology (KMET), a company specializing in urban and industrial smart mechanical equipment.

Under the agreement, the two companies plan to establish production and research bases in Jeonbuk, with a total investment of KRW 35.6 billion (KRW 20.6 billion from Moreh and KRW 15 billion from KMET.

Jeonbuk State expects this investment to create around 60 direct jobs, and the creation of hundreds of indirect jobs when factoring in related companies in construction, equipment, and services.

Moreh, an AI computing platform company, possesses platform and software technologies that enable the use of multiple high-performance computing units (GPUs) as a single large-scale computing resource.

KMET is a smart mechanical equipment company that supplies rainwater pumps, drainage facilities, pressurized facilities, modular machine rooms, and building energy management systems (BEMS).
