According to Yonhap News,

Jeonju City, Jeonbuk-do (North Jeolla Province) and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) agreed to attract foreign trainees, invited by the government, to the Jeonju region on January 18th.

KOICA is an affiliated agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and is responsible for overseas cooperative projects. The Agency invites 3,500 officials of developing countries every year to give them an opportunity to experience Korea’s traditional culture.

Jeonju City plans to take the agreement as a change to develop training programs linking the hanok (Korea’s traditional house) village, Gunsan Industrial Complex, and regional universities.
