Jeonbuk, to Provide 10 Million ㎡ of 5 Industrial Complexes

According to Yonhap News,

 

Jeonbuk-do (North Jeolla Province) plans to provide 10 million m2 of five industrial complexes including Saemangeum Industrial Complex favored by companies within this year.

 

According to Jeonbuk on January 26th, it plans to first provide 10.48 million m2 of Saemangeum Industrial Complex (4.4 million m2), Gimje Jipyeongseon Industrial Complex (2.98 million m2), Wanju Techno Valley (1.31 million m2), Jeongeup High-tech Science Industrial Complex (900,000 m2), and Gochang Industrial Complex (850,000 m2) in order to timely offer sites to companies.

 

Those industrial complexes are not fully completed, but part of them will be developed before the completion to be sold to companies.

 

Also, the Province plans to advance the completion of five industrial complexes (4 million m2) such as Buan New Renewable Energy Complex and Iksan General Industrial Complex; and to construct 12 Agricultural Industrial Complexes (1.72 million m2) to achieve balanced development of the country.

 

Also, Jeonbuk will invest KRW 42 billion to build infrastructure for those industrial complexes such as industrial waterworks and access roads.
