Chonbuk National University to Send 205 Exchange Students

According to Yonhap News,

 

Chonbuk National University said on February 25th that it would send 205 exchange students to five sister universities in China and the Philippines as part of its project to nurture global leaders.

 

By university, 59 students will go to De La Salle University, 51 to the Bulacan State University, 56 to the University of the Visayas, and 35 to Cebu Doctor’s University of the Philippines and 4 students to Shenyang Jianzhu University of China.

 

Exchange students will complete one-semester course at sister universities from which 18 credits are recognized, and receive the whole tuition fee and roundtrip airfare.

 

Chonbuk National University has sent a number of exchange students every year since 2008 in order to help students horn their foreign language skill and be more global-minded.

 

Vice Chancellor Sin Hyo-geun said “this project will be an important opportunity to improve the quality of human resources who will lead the future,” and added “we plan to expand this project further.”
