According to Yonhap News,

Muju-gun, Jeonbuk-do (North Jeolla Province) said on April 13th that it would sell factory sites of the 2nd Agro-Industrial Complex, Dangsan-ri, Muju-eup in parcels.

The parcel price for factory sites, scheduled to be completed in June, is KRW 48,000 per square meter. The total area for sale is 80,369㎡ in eight complexes, and applications for occupation will be accepted starting from May 3rd.

Business sectors that do harm to the production activities and environment of the complex will be excluded, while priority will be placed on the food, grocery, and manufacturing industries.

The 2nd Agro-Industrial Complex is expected to boost the regional industry along with the 1st Agro-Industrial Complex where Danone, a multinational food company, is operating.

An official of Muju-gun said “we will select occupants through an examination process, and investment size, employment effect, and credit rating will be deciding factors.”
