According to Yonhap News,

Jeong-eup City in North Province said today that it has completed the construction of an agricultural industrial complex in Obong-ri, Taein-myeon.

The city started to build the complex from 2010 in an attempt to enhance the manufacturing capacity of Taein and Sintaein and create jobs.

About 19.6 billion won has been injected to build the complex on a 250,000 square meter-site in Obong. The complex, where steel, metal and electronics manufacturers that don't produce waste water will occupy, is expected to create more than 1,000 jobs.

The Taein Agricultural Industrial Complex has an easy access to Honam Highway and National HIghway No. 1 and is a five-minute drive from National Highway No. 30. What makes the complex more attractive is affordable prices of about 68,000 won per square meter for companies to operate there.

The city expects the complex will be fully occupied within the end of this year with about 95% of the site in the complex being currently occupied by 11 companies including B&G Semiconductor.
