According to Yonhap News,

A joint seminar, co-organized by Saemangeum development project committee and Netherlands Embassy in Korea, was held at Lotte Hotel in Seoul under the theme of "Sustainable Development of Saemangeum."

The seminar brought together those in the public, research and private sector from both countries.

Experts from both countries made presentations and then had in-depth discussions on an each topic basis.

Rural Research Institute released a report titled "Development of Multi-Purpose Agricultural Land in Saemangeum" and Netherlands' Wageningen UR made a presentation on "Development of Urban-Type Agricultural Food Cluster in Saemangeum."

The urban and ecosystem sector was presented by Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements under the topic of "Potential and Future Direction of Multi-Functional City in Saemangeum."

The water sector was dealt by Korea Environment Institute under the topic of "Management of Water and Ecosystem in Saemangeum" and by Netherlands' Arcadis under the topic of "Analysis and Integration of Land Usage and Water Management."
