According to Yonhap News,
Asked what Jeonju's best project is this year, many citizens turned out to pick Hyosung's carbon fiber plant.
A total of 250 billion won is injected into building the plant to produce medium modulus carbon fiber for the first time in Korea, which is expected to develop Jeonju into a carbon industrial hub.
Jeonju's food promotion project ranked 2nd as the city had been chosen as a Creative Cities for Gastronomy as part of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network, followed by supplying gas to all Jeonju households living in detached houses and offering free and eco-friendly meals to students.
The survey was conducted on 1,238 Ulsan citizens.
