According to Yonhap News,

Following being selected as one of the Korea’s most promising exhibitions in 2013 last month, the International Fermented Food Expo Jeonju (IFFE) is also designated an accredited international exhibition by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy for the three straight years.

The accreditation holds much significance in that the IFFE is chosen among many food-related events nationwide triggered by a growing popularity of Korean food abroad.

Four food events have thus far been included in the accredited international exhibitions – IFFE, Seoul Food (in Korea International Exhibition Center), Seoul Food Week (in Coex Center) and Gwangju Food (in Kimdaejung Convention Center).

Among them, the IFFE is the only food exhibition to be held in the outdoor area instead of a convention center.

The 11th IFFE is scheduled to open at Jeonju World Cup Stadium in October.
