Jeollabuk-do (Province) unveiled a comprehensive plan on nurturing the horse industry in preparation for the era of recording USD 30,000 in the national income.

According to the plan, the province will inject 550 billion won into 28 projects by 2020 to increase the quality of life and income for the agricultural community.

It plans to establish relevant infrastructures for the horse industry and facilitate the horse riding sports. It focus will mostly be on cultivating human resources and increasing investment in R&D.

“The cultivation of the horse industry, considered to create high added values, will contribute a lot to job creation and the local economy,” said a Jeollabuk-do official.
