On 14th, representatives from European food companies and agencies visited National Food Cluster’s Information Center in Iksan, North Jeolla Province.

Nizo Food Research from Netherlands, Bereau Veritas and French Food Cluster from France, and Italy’s Forno d’Asolo took a look around the Cluster while they learned about the National Food Cluster’s projects.

They also expressed deep interest in Korean culture and history as they went to Iksan Jelwelry Museum and other cultural facilities.

It was Nizo Food Research and French Food Cluster’s first visit to Korea after they signed MOU with National Food Cluster this year, and it is expected to be a step closer to actual investment.

Forno d’Asolo will also sign investment MOU with the National Food Cluster on May 15th for their Asia entry.

Mayor Lee Han-su thanked the representatives for their visit and stated that he will endeavor to complete the cluster to lead the global food market based on in-depth discussion with the leading companies and agencies from Europe.
