Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) signed a MOU with Forno d’Asolo for National Food Cluster or Foodpolis in Iksan, North Jeolla Province.
The National Food Cluster project aims to build a national food industrial complex of 2.32 million m2 with 120 enterprises and research agencies by 2020 with an investment of KRW 553.5 billion.
Forno d’Asolo is an Italian food company established in 1985 which manufactures frozen bakery products. Its sales recorded KRW 100 billion last year.
