Festivalo, a Japanese company which produces sweet potato cakes, visited Iksan’s National Food Cluster last week. Festivalo signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Food Cluster May 2011. It has expressed a deep interest in the National Food Cluster to enter the overseas market.
Visitors asked questions about sweet potato production in Iksan as they looked around the Cluster. Officials from Iksan city explained the National Food Cluster project progress, incentive programs and suitability of growing sweet potatoes in the region.
