North Jeolla Province held an export consultation session to expand markets for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region.
The province announced yesterday that it and the JeollaBukdo Business Agency held an export consultation session with 24 foreign buyers from 10 countries in Gunsan to help SMEs expanding to overseas markets.
The session drew major buyers from China, Russia and the United States and 73 regional SMEs to hold one-on-one consultations for processed food, construction materials and daily supplies. Some buyers also visited factories.
A government official noted that the province has business-friendly environment and companies producing quality products that can satisfy foreign buyers, adding that the session is expected to serve as an opportunity to achieve joint growth.
