According to Yonhap News,

(NAMWON = Yonhap News) The City of Namwon plans to push ahead the development project to establish the eco-friendly cosmetic cluster.

In an attempt to resolve the industrial polarization, the city announced the plan to establish the eco-friendly cluster as a new growth engine in 2011 and has pushed ahead the scheme ever since.

Namwon has invested KRW 4 billion from 2012 in the site of 200,000㎡ in No-am Third Agro-Industrial Complex to establish eco-friendly cosmetic complex.

The city then signed the memorandum of understanding with four cosmetic companies including S Jay Medience, Lymphodia and AgeLOC, and these companies are expected to move in early 2014.

In addition, the city is also under negotiation with companies which consider entering the cosmetic market.

Namwon plans to open herb shop and herb garden in the Herbtopia Complex in 2015. The city will also induce private investment such as spa-therapy, hotels and condominiums at Aroma Therapy Hall to create a synergy effect with the cosmetic cluster.

“We are currently working hard to secure the national budget for the investment of KRW 20 billion until 2018 to the development project.” Official of Namwon Choi Hyun-mok said.
