(GIMJE=NEWSIS) The City of Gimje will collect ideas of citizens and businessman on field centered regulation improvement by June 10.

The contest is designed to listen to citizen’s opinions and corporations’ viewpoints on unfair and irrational regulations to find out creative and forward-looking solution, helping citizens’ stabilization of living.

Four sections for the contest are as follows. ▲ Suggestions on job creation and protection for the underprivileged ▲ Measures against delay in handling civil affairs and civil servants who are keeping a low profile ▲ Old-fashioned regulations that do not follow the current economic trend ▲ The central government’s regulations that hamper investment promotion.

Every Gimje residents can take part in the event via the city’s official webpage (www.gimje.go.kr) and e-mail (nice1street@korea.kr). Residents also can visit the City Hall for registration.

The City of Gimje plans to adopt excellent ideas from its residents to this year’s key agendas and improve them in a positive way.
