SMEs in North Jeolla Province Make Inroads into China with Excellent Products

(JEONJU=Yonhap News) Small-and-medium-sized companies (SMEs) in North Jeolla Province that produce excellent products plan to proactively enter the Chinese market.

The Jeonbuk Export Promotion Council and the Beijing Daxing Economic and Cultural Development Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to secure the export market of the excellent products in North Jeolla Province at the Jeonbuk Regional Small & Medium Business Administration on July 24.

The Beijing Daxing Economic and Cultural Development Co., Ltd. operates the exhibition gallery for Korea-related export products at the economic and cultural industrial complex that is under development in Beijing.

According to the agreement, the Beijing Daxing Economic and Cultural Development Co., Ltd. will exhibit, promote and sell products of SMEs in North Jeolla Province and the Jeonbuk Export Promotion Council will find excellent products and hold presentations on entering the Chinese market.

"SMEs that produce practical high-quality goods had difficulties in exporting their products. The agreement will help them to secure competitiveness in making inroads into the Chinese market,” said President Seong Gwang-moon of the Jeonbuk Export Promotion Council.
