North Jeolla Province Governor Discusses Carbon Businesses with Indian Ambassador to Korea

(JEONJU=Yonhap News) Ambassador Vishnu Prakash of the Embassy of India in Korea visited North Jeolla Province on September 1 and discussed measures with Governor Song Ha-jin to cooperate and develop carbon businesses in the Province.

Ambassador Prakash agreed on the cooperation between the Korea Institute of Carbon Convergence Technology, regional companies and Indian companies to conduct joint research on carbon businesses and also pledged to provide full support for the cooperation.

"I hope excellent Indian companies will invest in North Jeolla Province to lay the foundation to enter the global market together,” said the Amabassador.

Governor Song visited India last November when he was the Mayor of Jeonju and signed several memorandum of understandings (MOUs) with Indian companies and institutes to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries for the carbon business sector.
