(IKSAN=Yonhap News) Iksan City announced Oct. 20 that the City has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Barneveld in the Netherlands to strengthen the relationship between the two cities and cooperate for food governance.
The MOU is the result of Iksan Mayor Park Kyung-chul who passionately introduced the future of Iksan National Food Cluster to administrative institutions and university officials in the Netherlands.
The investment promotion group comprised Mayor Park and officials at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and North Jeolla Province visited the Netherlands, France and Germany to encourage foreign investment.
