(IKSAN=NEWSIS) The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) and North Jeolla Province gave a presentation to attract investment from companies that have reached memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea National Food Cluster.

According to Iksan city, MAFRA organized a meeting on December 9 where workers at North Jeolla Province, Iksan City, the Korea Land and Housing Corporation, the Korea Industrial Complex Corp., the Korea National Food Cluster and 18 companies that have signed MOU have attended.

The meeting was prepared to listen to the difficulties of food companies, find solutions and promote the pre-sale of the Korea National Food Cluster.

"The Korea National Food Cluster has reached MOUs with 101 companies at home and abroad. We will do our utmost to bring tangible results for the Cluster and the MOU-signed companies," said an Iksan official.

The Korea Land and Housing Corporation, which began the pre-sale of the Korea National Food Cluster on November 28, will receive applications from December 15 to 17.
