(GUNSAN=NEWSIS) According to the Gunsan City on January 22, it will invest KRW 2.1187 trillion in ten plants to newly establish and expand buildings, which will create 840,000 jobs annually and wage payment effect of more than KRW 100 billion.

OCISE will invest KRW 957.2 billion on 162,000 ㎡ of land in the Saemangeum industrial complex to build a community energy facility.

About 600~1000 workers work on-site every day, creating 310,000 jobs annually.

Toray Advanced Materials Korea and Solvay Silica Korea will invest KRW 300 billion and KRW 110 billion, respectively, which will create 400-500 daily workers until early 2016 and create 190,000 jobs annually.

HANGLAS will invest KRW 50 billion in the development of a production plant for low-E glass.

“The surrounding areas of the industrial complexes including restaurants, shops and accommodations are booming due to the increase in workers. The motto of the city is that the development of companies will contribute to the regional development. Therefore, we are doing our utmost to provide one-stop services through the corporate support centers," said a city official.
