(SUNCHANG=NEWSIS) The Sunchang County announced January 9 that it will invest KRW 27.6 billion in 93 businesses in ten sectors to improve the agricultural competitiveness and increase farm income.
The major businesses for securing agricultural competitiveness include eco-friendly agriculture, future agricultural administration, distribution marketing, horticulture and herbal crops, living resources and income management.
The county will invest KRW 9.1 billion in 23 businesses in the eco-friendly agriculture to carry out the 6th industrialization.
The major businesses include supporting logistics cost to eco-friendly distribution companies, establishing the infrastructure for eco-friendly and organic agricultural zone and providing production and distribution subsidies.
The county has finalized the guidelines for support businesses in the agricultural industry in 2015. The guidelines include businesses for agriculture and livestock products, which will be carried out in 2016, and agricultural businesses for 2015.
