(JEONJU=Yonhap News) Jeonju City, Wanju County and Gimje City signed a business agreement on September 21 to attract companies in the Jeonju regional area.
Participants included Jeonju City Mayor Kim Seung-soo, Gimje City Mayor Lee Gun-sik, Wanju County Governor Park Seong-il and the council chairmen of the three local governments.
The agreement aims to bring synergy through effective and integral management of attracting companies.
The three cities will establish a joint investment promotion team to share information on the potential companies and hold joint investor relation sessions.
They will boost efforts to attract companies in the high-tech carbon valley in Jeonju, root industrial complex (mold, cast) in Wanju and horizon industrial complex (agricultural machinery parts) in Gimje.
