According to Yonhap News,

(ULSAN=Yonhap News) The largest children's playground in the City of Ulsan will be built at Seonam Pond Park.

The Nam-gu District announced Jan. 30 it will spend KRW 2.2bn to create its new Rainbow Playground covering 11,174m² of land within the Seonam Pond Park.

Various equipment will be installed on the playground, including a mini train that will run along a 334m-long circular rail track, a pool designed in the shape of a rivulet for summertime water activities, a trampoline, and an area for educational sessions on the environment.

Nam-gu completed compensation for the site late last year, and construction, recently begun, is set to end this September.

The Seonam Pond Park, an ecological park with the Seonam Pond at its center, complete with a wetland eco trail, flower garden, and soccer field, attracts around 700,000 visitors each year.

According to a source from Nam-gu, "The new Rainbow Playground is expected to become a popular destination for family outings or kindergarten or grade-school field trips planned around recreational and learning activities, while the park itself will also secure its name as a quality park within the city.
