According to Yonhap News,

Ulsan-si and the Ulsan Economic and Ulsan Business Promotion Institution (UBPI) announced on October 10 that they will support the participation of local SMEs in the "21st World Korean Business Convention (KWBC)" to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Orange County, California on October 11-14 (local time).

Six companies including NOVATEK will be participating.

The contents of the support include space (booth) rental fee, equipment fee, and one-way flight airfare.

In particular, five of this year's participating companies also took part in the 20th KWBC held in Ulsan last year, and participating again this year to actually develop overseas markets.

This year's convention will feature exhibitions by companies, venture capital (VC) investment discussions, presentations, and startup contests, with attendance of more than 6,000 business people from more than 30 countries around the world.

A city official said, "we hope that participation in the KWBC lead to produce actual achievements for local companies that have difficulty in developing overseas markets under rapidly changing trade circumstances."
