According to Newsis,

(Ulsan = Newsis) Reporter Ahn Jung-seop – The Ulsan Port Authority (BPA) announced on the 2nd that it is participating in 'Posidonia 2026'—a shipbuilding and maritime exhibition held at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens, Greece, from the 1st to the 5th—to render multifaceted support for its small and medium-sized partner enterprises expanding into the global market.

Posidonia is the world's largest platform for international shipbuilding, maritime, and shipping industry exchanges, attended by global shipping lines, shipbuilding & maritime equipment enterprises, and port officials.

At this exhibition, UPA is operating the 'Ulsan Port Partner Pavilion' to intensely support product and technology promotions as well as local buyer consultations for three small and medium-sized partner enterprises selected through a prior public contest.

To ensure that participating enterprises can focus entirely on exhibits and consultations, UPA is actively assisting throughout all stages, including exhibition space construction, exhibit transportation, on-site promotions, and consultation responses.

Furthermore, the authority has significantly expanded its scope of support by establishing a cooperative framework with the Korea Marine Equipment Association (KOMEA) and the Korea Research Institute of Ships and Ocean Engineering (KRISO), combining each institution's expertise and network.

In particular, the initiative adds more significance by providing on-site practical training opportunities for young trade talents through industry-academia cooperation.

In connection with the Glocal Trade Experts Incubating Program (GTEP) of Soongsil University, UPA arranged for students majoring in international trade to assist with buyer receptions and consultation support at the exhibition venue. This is highly anticipated to yield a mutually beneficial effect, providing youth with practical experience related to international exhibitions while reinforcing the on-site consultation response capabilities of the participating enterprises.

Byeon Jae-young, CEO of the Ulsan Port Authority, stated, "Through our participation in this exhibition, we aim to assist our small and medium-sized partners in exploring new sales channels in the international market." The official added, "We will continue to render support so that this can lead to substantial export outcomes even after the exhibition."
