According to Yonhap News,

John Gurdon, who won the Nobel Prize in physiology and medicine this year with Professor Shinya Yamanaka of Tokyo University, visited Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) last Thursday to deliver a special lecture in the 2012 International Society for Stem Cell Research.

In addition, Professor Hans Scholer, director of Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine and a chair-professor of UNIST, gave a lecture on pluripotency of cells.

UNIST held an opening ceremony for a 3,308 square meter-research institute that specializes in stem cell with professor Gurdon attending.
